Its been a long couple of weeks. I had an excellent holiday down in Queenstown. It was warm down there, like spring had come early and there wasn't much snow on the mountains. We didn't end up going skiing, instead we went on walks. One night we stayed at Kinloch, at the end of the lake. We walked up to Bryant glacier, a small glacier, two hours walk from the road then sat out in a hot tub under the stars. I saw a star, glow up brighter than all the rest than fade away. It was moving across the sky like a satalite. At first I thought supernova or something like that but supernovas don't move that quickly across the nights sky.
However the trip didn't end so well. My uncle who was staying with my father in Queenstown was killed in a head on collision on our last day there. So on Thursday dad came up and stayed with us and we had the funeral on Friday. I took the day off and spent time with the family. It has been a long week but am relaxing now. Watched the game with my bros last night (ABs playing Aussie) and saw the tri-nations return to our good land.
