As 2005 draws to an end I am starting to think what achievements I have made this year. Certainly changing jobs was one. I will write up a list after New Years.
Went out go carting the other day. It rocked. It was a little more expensive than I thought it would be ($45) but once we were going it was cool. I started off slow and careful and by the end of it was breaking hard at the corners then accelerating halfway through the turn to slide the back around and take off again. Good stuff. Got a few bruises on my back though but well worth it.
Went for a run with Martin yesterday. About 8km which is the furtherest I've gone in ages. Felt good. Hard to get motivated at the moment though.
One a few more days to go then we head off to walk the Abel Tasman. I'll get to try out my new backpack which will be cool.
Had a few people round for a BBQ the other night. It rocks having a BBQ, absolutely love it. Great present from us to us.
Must go for a swim in the sea some time this summer. Must also go out to Kiatoke and camp and the Karori wildlife enclosure, I've heard good things about that. But for now its playing a little more multi-player Civ. Good game.
