If you look at where the trend is going, you will see that it is tending towards a continuous live feed (video and sound) of a persons life, put up on the web. This is still a while in the happening but in the short term we can predict the next big thing after blogs. They will be video blogs rather than text.
New cameras that are coming out can hold 1-4 GB of data. This is plenty for a number of movies. Its not too hard to upload them onto a site. What will happen is that cell phone technology will become good enough to contain a digital camera (5MP) and video (640x480 or better). When this happens it will not be too hard to tie all the technologies together and post your movies from your phone to your website. THEN it will happen, there will be a huge explosion in video blogs (can't think of a better name for them just yet) and everyone will be doing it.
Its just a matter of being aware and extrapolating. Guess I better upgrade the server again and get some more hard disk space. Its currently sitting on 6GB (only 1 or 2 free) which is hardly enough for images let alone movies.
