A day of events... 11:25PM
What I say to you Mr Rain man is Bool-ya! Rock the funky monkey and spank me some money (it sounds rude but its not)!
It has been a day of events indeed. It started with a text from Mr Martin. A favour called in you might say. He wanted to sell his car in a hurry (pay heed Mr Kramer) but needed a new front indicator light as his current one was cracked. So I readied myself quickly and headed down his way. We did a quick mish to the Nissan dealership and he aquired the part he needed (through legal means). We then installed it there on the street and headed off to VTNZ testing centre to gain a warrent of fitness (btw Martin doesn't have his full licence hence his need to have me drive). That done we headed home and I was off to work before anyone knew I was missing.
It didn't stop there though. They announced in the newspaper that they had found the most Earth like planet so far. An interesting fact, considering I wish to pilot a ftl ship one day and explore the galaxy (faster-than-light). There was also the office cash rate (OCR) which stayed put. Folks it looks like our long run of high interest rates has peaked and we may be facing a downturn in the economy. Dan, Bev, Jo, Martin are some who have heard this knews and are leaving the country before it falls too far.
But really thats all boring. Today it was Dan's birthday. Happy birthday dude. Hope you had a good one.
After work today Bonnie and I went out for dinner at Nicolinis. It was all good. Bonnie bought herself a stylie red Mac Pac to match mine in coolness (but scaled down to girl size) which we left at my work.
But coolest of all. We got out a DVD to watch after dinner. It was Closer. A little strange but what was most important was the scratchie that came with it. I scratched it as we were walking back to my work to pick up Bonnie's pack. It said you have won a Sony Digital camera. See reverse for details. I thought thats kinda missleading if we haven't won. So I gave it to Bonnie saying as much. When she turned it over to read the details I started getting excited. Hey dude, it looks like we won a SONY FUCKING DIGITAL CAMERA! One of the top three prizes. You can kinda see a photo in here somewhere...

I think its a 7MP and better than my current one but we have to wait and see. It will be couriered to us within 10 days. Fucking A! Mother fucker! I never win the big prizes (or medium ones), just the free cokes and shit.
So luck is a comodity, something that can be built up, swapped, traded or lost. I am currently building mine up. I bought a $3 crossword instant kiwi the other day. It won $5 so the next day I bought a $3 matrix instant kiwi and two $1 ones. I won $5, $3 & $2. Three wins in a row! Then I got cocky and went to a non lucky store at the wrong time and lost it all. But its getting there. The luck is growing. I better start picking my numbers now for Vegas. A fucking Sony Digial Camera. Bool-ya!
