Alarm (part II)... 7:59AM
So Ed's going for the flatmate of the week award at the moment. He managed to set the alarm off again last night by banging his shirts into the box in his wardrobe. Luckily we had rung up the landlord and had the pin number for it this time so it only went off for 10 seconds. We closed the box properly this time and discovered that he had had to unscrew it to open it and set it off. Then he headed off and we had a peaceful night but that wasn't to last...
2am we are awoken to the door bell ringing, ding-dong.... ding-dong... ding-dong-ding-dong-ding-dong. Bonnie goes downstairs to let Ed in only to find he's already inside, ding-dong-ding-dong-ding-dong. I'm getting a litle ding-dong annoyed ding-dong by the incessant door bell ringing so I get up to see whats going on. Apparently he has a drunk female friend outside whos a little aggressive and won't go away (ah-ha, do I care? Just stop the door bell ringing). He says ding-dong she may have ding-dong gone now.... ding-dong-ding-dong-ding-dong... no. I open the door and tell her to stop ringing the door bell, she starts talking to me getting angry when I tell her to go away, she pushes me and Ed steps out to hold her back so she puts her hands around his throat and pushes him back against the wall. Her shoes are in the drive way and she just won't go away, every time we go to close the door she presses the door bell, she's not even aware of my threat to call the police. So Ed and I take her one arm each and walk her round the corner. She is struggling and screaming and I leave Ed there to deal with her. I think he walked her back to town. Don't know.
Took another hour or more to get back to sleep after that excitement.
