A wedding, a birthday and One Love on Waitangi day... 10:54PM

So Saturday we hoofed it up to Palmy, Bonnie, Eddie and I. There we found a huge pile of wood and a small shed to stuff it all into. After lunch Bonnie and I headed off to Mae and Jacobs wedding leaving Eddie to do all the hard wood shifting work.

The wedding was just out of Fielding at Jacob's family's place. It was great. A beaut sunny day leaving us all wondering how sunburnt we were going to get and a huge open section with a marquee. They even had space for tents.

The wedding was great, good people, good food, music and plenty of alcohol ;)

Next morning we woke up and headed back to Palmy for a big feed. We rang mum to see if she wanted to join us but was told that she had to clean up the spew all around the house. Apparently Eddie had had his mates around and he didn't remember all of the night.

So Sunday (after mum had cleaned up) was a BBQ with friends in the backyard. It was another hot day and Eddie lay inside looking a little worse for wear. Later that day we headed back to Wellywood.

Monday was work. Had to be done.

Tuesday was another scorcher. Summer seems to finally have come. People were continuously walking up our street and up and over the hill to One Love. We headed up later in the day and it was pretty good. Lots of people, lots of heat and lots of music. We found Tom and Jacqui in the drinking section and joined them for a while. Bonnie got a little too hot and had to have a lie down and some cold water before we headed back to Tom's for the annual after One Love BBQ. He had heaps of food there and had even created a little dirt area for people to sit. It was good to catch up with everyone.

So did I mention that we won our grade of indoor soccer last week? Or that I'm now kinda filling in for another team? Now starting another round and have gone up a grade.

This week I decided to sign up for Ultimate Frisbee. Thought it would be good exercise and a bit of fun. Went along for a session today. Was good. I have alright fitness and frisbee skills so just need to learn the rules.

Of course after having had an awesome week weather wise it has now turned a little crappier on the weekend. X-games are on this weekend too.
