Singapore airport... 1:15AM
So its 1am NZ time, 9pm Singapore time. We're at the airport after 1 hour flying to Auckland, 2 hour wait then 10 hours flying to Singapore. I've got to say I like Singapore airlines. They have enough foot space, nice friendly staff and the screen in the back of the seat is awesome. I've watched 3 movies on the way over here, read some of my Greek Islands book, eaten two meals, and taken the learn Greek lesson on the screen. I now know how to count from 1 to 10 and a few other numbers as well. The learn a language feature is cool, great way to spend your time flying to that country. I could have actually done with more time to learn more.
So its 26 degrees here and the merino socks I'm wearing to reduce (or totally remove) foot smell are now heating up quite a bit. Still the socks are good and an experiment in action.
So for 1am and not having slept that well last night (I was up packing till midnight), I'm feeling pretty awake. The next step is to stay up as late as possible (its still only 4pm Athens time which is what I'll have to adjust to) and then sleep on this next flight. The next step is in 1 hour and we fly to Frankfurt. Its 12 hours so its going to be a long one and we're going to feel it a little after that.
Anyway free internet in airports rocks... I'm off back to explore the airport.
