So we now have a new car. Another Nissan Bluebird. But this one has a good stereo and air conditioning that works. Its all good. A quick comparisson of old and new follows.
Nissan Bluebird ARX (old)
- 1992
- 170,000k's
- Stereo doesn't work
- Has a leak
- Air conditioning doesn't work
- Some electrics don't work - electric windows, mirrors, etc.
- Starting to get rusty spots and needing more and more repairs
Nissan Bluebird Le Grand (new)
- 1998
- 91,000k's
- Has a good stereo and speakers (with IPOD plug in glovebox) and air conditioning works a treat
- No rust or other electrical problems
- Much better overall condition
So pretty much same car but 80,000k's less on the clock and with a good stereo and air conditioning (and in general better condition). Loving it. Just need to sell the old work horse now. Got it through trade me off a guy in the Hutt (yeah if he had kept it he was going to put mags on it and lower it) who was moving to Aussie.
This weekend has been the sevens weekend in Wellington. Lots of costumes around town. Fairly good weather for it. My goals for the weekend are to finish the second raised garden and sow some grass seeds over the bit of land I dug up (will post some photos once its finished). Lots of drilling required today.
