The empty bus 10:25PM
The day started off looking promising. Cold but promising. In fact hovering just above zero I think. Then the sun came out, we all rejoiced and then around lunch time the cold drizzly clouds came back and drizzled on us. I bought some clear duct tape though so I'm happy.
I was leaving for home and I saw a bus go by. I've given up running down the road for them (I always come out with them just in front of me and I have to run a block to catch them or walk back the other way and wait) cause usually one comes soon after but in this case the next one was 3 buses behind (all in a queue). So I took off, they were at the lights so I got a little bit of a head start, then I had to cross the road but made it for the last Karori bus. It had one person on it who got off at the next stop. Its home time (rush hour) and I've got a bus to myself, then one in front is clearing out all the people, its great. Then another person or two hops on then Bonnie hops on. Then up in Karori people hop off till its just Bonnie and I. We get off at our stop and the bus is empty. Its never happened before, its great.
So I'm liking the new tall, skinny coke cans. Something like 300ml, smaller than the 600ml plastic bottles I was getting and $2.20 rather than $3.20. Can't believe coke is costing that much now. Not that I should be drinking coke, its bad for you.
Its getting cold here now. Winters a comin...
