Shit it does fly.

Haven't spoken, or even murmored for a while. So much going on.

I've been to Bath to see the old Roman Spas. I've been to Salisbury and Stonehenge. I have cycled 150 miles on my new bike (and boy does my backside hurt). 45 of it was the sunday just been - Richmond to Windsor. We only briefly checked out Windsor Castle (where the queen lives in the winter) and Eton school (where prince harry and whatshisface went to). Beautiful country and forest lanes and cycles along side the nicer parts of the Thames (upper thames, where it is not so polluted). On another cycling trip we went through Richmond park and saw some of the wild deer frolicking around. Not the sort of thing I expected to find in London! It's full of surprises I tell ya

I have spent a lot of time sussing out computer hardware, and designing a wireless network for the new apartment. Haven;t made any purchases, because my credit card got blocked. It got blocked because some wanker stole the replacement card in NZ and spent 1000 on stuff from Vodafone and an electronics shop in Petone. New card has arrived now, so I'm ready to purchase so good stuff in the next few days.

Went to a BBQ at Steve's Lawton'son the weekend. He has bought a house, which is a pretty serious move to do in London. Oh, and Ange has bought a house too. Somewhere up north, towards Scotland maybe?

Decent bit of boozing done. Finally purchased some Vodka, which is cheap as - only $10 for a bottle of Smirnoff, and they sell it at the supermarket. Vital part of the weekly groceries indeed.

Tried to go to Wales bank holday weekend, but we left it too late, so we couldn't book anything in Cardiff. Have to do it another time. We went to Hampton court, a palace that was built in the 1400's and has hosted many royalty in it's time, including Henry XVIII and his headless wives. on the holiday monday we went to the Notting Hill carvnial, which is massive. Ended up at a Sancho Panza stage dancing in the streets. There was some good house music to be found throughout the day, and cheap beers and cool parade costumes. Joachim's girlfriend was in the parade in a mas outfit.

This weekend we go to Berlin. Cheap flight. Last minute decision. Going with Mike to pick up Anna and bring her back. Should be a decent trip. The weekend after that we go to Paris for Tammy's birtday. We are flying, but we realise that we should be taking the Eurostar. Oh well. Another time again. There are so many goddam good things to do here.

Gotta have a good club night out soon. ""Medicine"", around the corner from home shows promise.
