My grandmother has been sick and just about didn't make it, but news is now good and she has been transferred to Keneperu hospital so she can be closer to family.

Meanwhile I've put in a decent few hours here working. Got to break away last night so I went to crobar to see Sandra Collins. It must have been a good night, because I didn't get into bed until after 8am. At 9am Joachim called me to tell me about the Zurich street parade where he was in a foam party with girls in bikinis. Mmmmm yum.

I went to the New York Natural History museum today, which had some really cool stuff in the ocean life section. A life-size model of a blue whale, and a giant squid, which no-one has seen alive in their natural habitat - they live at least 1000 meters under the water and are only found when they wash up on the beach dead occasionally.

To put me back in my spirits I watched Batman begins. Now I feel cool and together again.
