been real busy the last few days. doin auntie cushla's and our ironing and making dinner and babysitting and doing the banking and supermarket shoping and stuff. doin all the housewifey stuff till mum finishes work in a couple of days. don't mind doing it tho. it's not too difficult. but i'm only doing it for my hols! bugger being a fulltime housewife-mum. i reckon a house-husband is the way to go!

was hoping to go down to welly for the street party for the 'fellowship of the ring' but i was told that was invites only?? do any of you wellingtonians know anything about it? would love to go but it would be stupid to go all the way down there and not be able to go out!
went to get the book 'the fellowship of the ring' from the library yesterday. i went in on saturday to get it but there was none in the library except one which someone had put on hold. so i put one of the other copies on hold for when it was supposed to come in which was monday. so i go in on monday to ask if it's come in. one of the librarians at the desk goes actually you haven't put it on hold. i was like, actually i did. so she found the half dozen on-hold cards they hadn't inputted yet (slackers) and my name was on one of them. slightly pissed off here because i wanted that book, like as soon as it got in. then it turns out my book has actually come in, yey right? No.. the librarian next to her had actually got it out earlier that day. now i was a little peeved. surely a librarian would understand the on-hold concept. but noooo. instead of giving me the book that was rightfully mine, that i'd come in from the wops of the farm to the town JUST to get, they decided to put my name down for the NEXT copy which isn't due for a few more days! well that's Fucking Feilding Library for ya... yea yea i know, petty as. But i want to read it. and i bet more than that stupid incompetent librarian too
