HAPPY NEW YEAR!

believing 9:40AM

hmmmm, after reading ashes entry and i've been thinking about it a bit since we talked about it when i went to stay. ashes theories of 'there are JUST coincidences' and 'don't believe anything till you've seen it' do appeal to my scientific side and they do make life a hell of a lot simpler. i mean if you're not looking out for patterns and reasons for things it's gotta make things seem more straight forward. but i think it makes life a hell of a lot more interesting if you do believe in ghosts and do enjoy doing your tarot every now and again and you do try for that 3rd time lucky. i don't think things are straight forward. and although i've never seen a ghost and i'm not supersticious, i'll walk under ladders and open umbrella's inside, and i don't believe in tarot cards or my horoscope (okay i do a little ;) i just think it makes everything more fun. like believing in father christmas when you're little. you kinda know that he can't really be true but you don't want anyone to tell you otherwise as it'll spoil the fun. i'm glad no one can prove that horoscopes are a load of crap, or that ghosts don't exist. it's fun and i wouldn't not want to believe.

it's kinda like that with religion to some people i think. although i only believe that all that spiritual stuff COULD exist. some people get sooo caught up in it that their worlds would fall apart if they found out that god didn't exist because all their beliefs and their lives are centred around that theory being true. i'm not caught up but i think that it makes life a little more interesting. i like being a sagittarian and tarot is fun (keep pulling the cards till you get what you want ah reg!) and ghost movies are sooo much scarier if you believe.
