Well we're still stuffing around in Winter Park currently. Paul and Becca headed into Denver to drop off Steph, Sarah and Kiandra at the airport, and collect our rental car. Shane and I have been madly cleaning the apartment, with a little help from Paul (actually more like basically no help from Paul! Hes rather domestically challeged). We leave tomorrow, its Moab the first night, then the Grand Canyon, then Las Vegas. Should be wicked fun.

Winter Park is very strange currently, theres nobody around and its very warm and sunny. The buses stopped on the last day of the season and its now a total nightmare to get anywhere, since theres so few people theres not much hitching opportunities.

So anyway its turned out in addition to the 75 pounds .. (sorry no pound symbol here..) it cost to change the return date on my ticket, I can't add a stop over on the way back to the UK. I'm more than a little bit bummed out I can't stay with my sister, and see my now 2 year old nephew.

Still serves me right for being disorganised about what I was doing after the season when I booked my ticket.. and being a cheap prat about getting a lowcost, and as it turned out, inflexible flight.

So I'll be back in the UK on the 3rd of May (I think). Sarah has very kindly volunteered to meet me at Heathrow, and I'm staying a few days with her and her folks. Then its back to pick up my bike in Cambridge, my suitcase from London, and sort out my life
