Okay heres two slightly funny things..
Sit down on my bed at a hostel in Rome, having just got off the train, and on our first day in Italy. Start chatting to this american guy across from me. Get onto working in Winter Park and he goes.. oh my sister worked there. Sure enough I knew her. That was just a little too freaky.
One of the guys at the hostel in Florence came out with a group of us to a local bar. He was wearing a tight black sleeveless top, crisp white combat trousers and took way too much care of his personal appearance for a backpacker. To be honest I thought he came across as a bit of a tosser and looked like a member of a crappy manufactured boy band, Nsync style.
Sure enough he was a finalist in the auditions for O-Town.
