Alright now I'm in Pennsylvania, at my sisters place in a college town. Its finally cooled down a bit from the other day, it was over 100F. Which is pretty dang hot. Add humidity to the equation and it feels like over 105 which is more than I can handle.
Yesterday was the 4th of July. So there were massive huge fireworks and plenty of flags out.
The fireworks were supposed to be more massive but there was a 'computer glitch' that meant the display finished early. About halfway home it started up again, but the aforementioned heat and about 200,000 people heading the same way meant we just continued to home.
Heading out for apparently pretty good fish and chips tonight. Wouldn't be hard to beat the UK version of f&c;, which kinda sucked. On Sunday I'm supposed to be heading to a drive in movie with my sister. Should be good fun

Seriously looking forward to being back in NZ, despite all my worries about various things. At least I can change this bleeding photo for a decent one!!!
