T3 the week and other things. 11:23AM

Okay this has to be quick. I need to clone myself to day. Heaps to do. Not much time.

Last weekend was good fun. Jax's little bro was up from Dunedin, so there was much late night partying and brunch activity. I sat in front of an open fire for the first time in years. Open fires are grossly in efficient but so much fun. There's nothing quite like burning stuff. Hmm burning things..

Weekend. I watched my second full game of rugby ever. Rode the vertical bungee thingee in Courtenay place. Took up some new trousers I'd brought. Fixed Sezs sisters computer. Tried to get my scooter seat back from the upholsterer. Got some handles and finishing bits for my wardrobe.

Saw T3 on Saturday. It was crap. Arnie is in his 50s and the whole movie was slow and really lacked any zest. All the characters were so lame I really didn't give a fuck what happened to them, and looking back over the movie bugger all really happened in the way of sub plots.

That said I liked two things in the movie, both of them at the end. The ending itself was cool for Hollywood movie. Can't tell you too much in case you insist on seeing it yourself, in spite of dire warning. But needless to say I wasn't expecting such a nihilistic ending. Cool.
Also the last set had some of the coolest furniture I've seen for long time. They're in the bunker, like some sort of super villains world domination control center, straight out of 60s James Bond movie, and its stacked with the coolest furniture.

Actually there were two more things.. the female terminator was a babe.. and there was a cool scene with a crane chasing down a car. But otherwise total crap.
Why do they have to ruin the first two movies by making budget sequel? Very few sequels have ever done any justice to the original. With the exception of the Alien movies.
Some movie exec thinks 'hey the first one made lots of money, I know lets make the same thing over again and call it a sequel ' oh can't get the big name actor who was in the first one? Lets just write him out .. he cost too much anyway.. '

Way behind on my CD a week. But the last one was so good I haven't noticed.

Manson got his goal this year completed earlier than expected. He'd been saying he'd really like to DJ at Paradiso some time. Like in the main slot. 12-3am. He'd done the early warm up one before, but on Friday he got the 12-4am one. Prime time.
