Clearing out my desk at work. 11:26AM

Tuesday I awoke early to rain and crap weather. The ski report was crap also so we didn't go skiing. I was quite happy with this though as the sleep was well needed. That day I still had my flu symptoms (they are just fading today) and altho not bad, my throat would have hurt like hell in the cold. Still I would have gone. Skiing is so cool. Anyway I went for a wonder through town. Met Dan for lunch. Brought some frames for my photos and put them up round the house. Martin came round at night and we had pizza and watched the latest DVD he had purchased. It was good.

Today it also rained. Now, truely, we are experiencing Wellington winter weather. I am quite enjoying it as one does when everyone else hates it. I keep thinking of the wicked snow dump I experienced on Friday and how without winter I wouldn't have experienced that. I wondered into work and caught up with everyone. It was cool to catch up with everyone. I arranged a possible ride up the mountains with a work mate (Mr Ellis for those in the know) and a possible trip on the weekend. I cleaned out my desk finally, taking away my RadioHead poster and the last lotto ticket I had ever purchased, over a year ago now. Talking to my boss I found he wanted me to come to TT's client function next month. I had recieved an invite but didn't know if I should turn up or not as I knew the person sending the invites out and they would invite me as a friend. I should have realised though that everyone would want me there. After surfing on the mechanical pig at last years event and riding tandem with Lisa Harken from MeatNZ and providing everyone with lots of entertainment I was sure to be welcomed back. Anyway I confirmed with Emma and am now going. A space theme at Pheonix. Cool.

So after dinner tonight I headed round to check out Crispy & Tammy's new flat. Its down the end of Cuba mall and pretty cool. They had just been over to Sydney for a holiday and had brought me back a bottle of Kahula, duty free. Yay for me. My last bottle had run out yonks ago so now I'm all fueled up again. We caught up on the goss and decided upon the next date for a gathering of the hundred club. People keep you calendars clear for Saturday the 21st of Sept. Its hundred club night and a time of celebration. Let me know if you can make it or not. Anyway now I'm home again and have stuff to do. No time to write any interesting antidotes :

Rouge text message... 11:45AM

That reminds me. I received a text message tonight. My phone usually beeps twice when it gets a new text message. This time it got to one beep then the battery died. Stupid thing lost the message. It got sent to me but my phone lost it as it received it. Now I don't know what hot chick texted me or where they wanted to meet me.... :) Damn! This kind of thing really bugs me. It was probably my mother reminding me to brush my teeth.

Luck, that one instant in which the balls fall out and your life could change forever. Never rely on it or else it won't happen. Never believe in it or else it will disapoint you.

Fate, the belief that things were meant to happen, the reason why things happened. Trust in it, that things will work out, but never know when they will work out or how, otherwise, once again you will be disapointed.

Combine these two and what do you have? Fluke? Chance? Random luck? I have a $2.50 casino token from the Auckland casino. I have a number, 20. This token on that number. Will it win? Is it fate? Would you believe if it did? Up to you. Tim let me know your address. I want to post this token to you so you can place it on number 20 for me. :) you keen
