""In darkness words acompany me. In night do my thoughts shine forth. As does the siren with her voice, so do I, with the words that I write. Only the ignorant are immune. Only the thoughtless will walk free. For it is not their souls that I seek. It is not to them that my plead goes out...""

Friday I spent in the sun, a quiet day in preparation for the chaos to come. Night time was a gym session, an awesome huge meal and a DVD with Crispy & Tammy. From Hell. It was actually pretty good. First time round for Tammy & Crispy for the DVD experience at our place.

Saturay was a sleep in. A walk through town and a late lunch with Em, Tom & Deanne in preparation for the 100 shots that night. At the markets I met the scarest real life person I've ever seen in my life. This thin old guy serving behind the counter had the freakest voice ever that scared the shit out of me. If I were to ever have nightmares about something, it would be about getting on the wrong side of this guy. If that is his normal voice, there is no way I could handle him screaming at me...

Spring had brought with it the winds and outside, even though a nice day, was not for sitting in and eating our food. We ate inside. Afterwards the guys paid a visit to the costume cave for some final touches and then we each purchased our dozen beers, export that is.

Back at home and Crispy & Dan were hard out playing a new D&D; game. Crispy was hooked and wanted to move in, he had lost Tammy somewhere. Dan was in another world. He kept playing right up till half an hour before the 100 shots began.

First action on the list was to tidy house and rearrange the lounge to accomodate everyone. After doing this it looked quite good. We might look at leaving things this way for a while, if it can be worked out. Then we laid out the shot glasses, only 7 on hand but Martin had promised to bring a few film canisters to help out. We set up the Perihelion (on tap) to keep accurate documentation of this awesome event. People started to arrive. First came Bev, Jo & Martin. Martin had with him a bag filled with over 100 film canisters. Fuck me dude, what are you going to do with all those. He proceeded to fill the sink and wash them all then lined them up in a row and filled them all with beer, putting the caps on as he went. Legend dude... I will put the photos up later.

Others arrived. Beer was laid out and people took there seats. Bev was the time keeper with his buzzer that was to go off every minute. Tom & Emma hadn't turned up yet. There was only 10 minutes till we started. When I had said don't be late and Tom had said right then 6:55 will do aye? I had thought he was joking... Tom time, another dimension where time doesn't is not relative and obeys totally different rules. Still he made it in time to start and he and Emma were definetly dressed for the occassion
