back at home now in good ol Feilding (thats how its spelt ash ;) but only here for another couple of hours. stayed in welly for 2 nights at ashes again (thanks). wednesday night i finally met kramer.. we had a drink at matterhorn and the fats (was cool, the manager i knew gave me a free drink!) and the Jet bar. now i was quite pissed when i found out that Liquid had become yet another indian restaurant, but the Jet bar totally makes up for it. i had the nicest bloody mary. it was $10 but that place is cool! had a reasonably early one tho 'cos ash had work the next day.
on thursday we tried out one of the newer indian restaurants in manners mall for lunch. and after working in one and having sampled many an indian meal i give 2 thumbs up to this place. it wasn't quite as good as the Great India, where i used to work, but for value for money it was awesome.
that night we saw oceans eleven. good movie. Heaps of stars. even the people who would normally be extras were people you knew. like pacey off dawsons creek and one of the sisters off (i will insert the name of this programme when i remember it!) were on it. it was cool. (damn it i used to watch that tv programme all the time!)
then friday me and ash trucked up here. went to the maze which was all cool as usual. Fully recommend going out and doing that (its on SH1 near marton) especially the night one. came back here and watched the mexican. thought that was all cool too. tho i had to watch parts of it again the next morning to fully get what went on.
bummed around all saturday, doing washing and tidying and all the other stuff you do when you haven't been home for ages. that night went out to Dougs 21st. was quite a cool setup. giving me some ideas for my 21st end of this year. hopefully i can convince mum and dad to throw me a decent party.
better go have some lunch and get everything sorted for cambridge, then big day out on friday! YEEEAAH! can't wait!! will be back about sunday me thinks. until then.. see yas :
